The Unlucky Ones have a very special story to go with the series. The elephant icons are inspired from an antique ivory necklace- at least 20 beads all hand carved from ivory. The title of this series is derived from the unfortunate events that poachers forced on many elephants. Through these pieces I am continuing my fascination with circus imagery. The usage of animals for entertainment is fascinating yet morally corrupt. For each piece sold, a portion of my sales will be given to various Elephant foundations.
